huna
My bodywork is based on the Huna philosophy. This is based on seven principles.
These principles are not dogmas set in stone, but can be used as a model to describe the world. With the help of this model, every person can work meaningfully on their personality, grow and thus lead a happier life.
The seven principles are: 'ike - kala - mākia - manawa - aloha - mana - pono.
Literally translated means ALOHA in the presence of the (life) breath .
In our yoga & wellness oasis you can breathe in, breathe out, breathe deeply, breathe freely to your heart's content.
'ike
THE WORLD IS WHAT YOU THINK IT IS
Hawaiian proverb: mamua ka 'ike, mahope ka 'ike
Short form: be aware
Meaning: Our thinking, our belief patterns, our ideas about the world lead us to materialize our personal world accordingly. We create our events in life according to our thought patterns, interpretation and evaluation patterns.
kala
THERE ARE NO BORDERS
Hawaiian proverb: ana 'ole, ka pō, ke ao
Short form: be free
Meaning: Boundaries help us move within a defined space, which generally gives us security and the ability to express ourselves. At the same time, borders can limit us. We set our own limits. Therefore, by expanding our horizons of thinking, it is possible to expand these limits and thus realize things in life that we previously did not think were possible.
mākia
ENERGY FOLLOWS ATTENTION
Hawaiian proverb: mākia ke ali'i, ehu ka ukali
Short form: be focused
Meaning: Wherever we focus our attention, our energy also flows. Constant focus on the things in life that don't work or that we don't want allows energy to flow exactly where we don't want it to go. Therefore, it makes sense to direct your attention to the things that we want to achieve, that we want to have or do in our life.
manawa
NOW IS THE MOMENT OF POWER/ OPPORTUNITY
Hawaiian proverb: noho ka mana i keia manawa
Short form: be here
Meaning: mana is power, which in German can be translated as power. I also find the terms design possibility – design power – creative power meaningful. wha is the time. According to the Hawaiian concept, time is concentrically expanded in all directions. So the perception of time depends on my overview of a situation, on my perspective.
It is important to be fully present in the now. The past as such is only in my memory. So I can't change the past, but I can change the memory of my past. The future, in turn, arises from my thoughts today. These are the seeds of what is to come. Most of the time we project some expectations or fears onto tomorrow. But now, in the moment, is best suited to change things in life and initiate transformation.
aloha
TO LOVE MEANS TO BE HAPPY WITH
Hawaiian proverb: ke aloha, ke alo, ke oha, ka hā
Short form: be happy
Meaning: If I love something, then I'm happy with it. The feeling of love or happiness can be increased if I (constantly) praise/praise what good things happen to me, what pleases me and everything that is great in my life. On the one hand, this leads to a pleasant feeling of happiness, on the other hand, according to mākia, my energy flows towards positive things in life, which in turn attracts positive things into my life.
mana
ALL POWER COMES FROM WITHIN
Hawaiian proverb: mai ka pō mai ka mana
Short form: be confident
Meaning: We are all an expression of our own creative power - whatever we call it. This power flows through us and we are always connected to it. In this way we can go through life confidently and full of self-confidence.
pono
EFFECTIVENESS IS THE MEASURE OF TRUTH
Hawaiian proverb: ana 'oia i ka hopena
Short form: be positive/flexible – to be positive/flexible
Meaning: We can only explain our world as a model because we don't see the big picture. Each model is as effective as it is effective. Anything that makes us (ethically) successful is fine. We can constantly change our thought and action patterns and check their effectiveness. What is not effective, we can confidently let go and develop new patterns. There are always many paths that lead to a goal. We don't have to stubbornly stick to a path if it doesn't work.
